Instant Pot Tindora Sabzi / Ivy Gourd Stir Fry / Dondakaya Kovakka
INGREDIANTS:
- 2 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 1 tsp chana dal
- curry leaves
- Little asafetida /hing
- 2 green chilies
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 3 cups of chopped tindora
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- salt
- 1 tbsp water
- chopped cilantro

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Clean and remove edges of tindora. Cut into vertical pieces.
- Turn on instant pot saute mode, when pot is hot, add oil.
- Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves and hing - wait until it splutters.
- Add chopped onion, green chilies - saute until onion turns into light brown.
- Add chopped tindora -Saute for a minute
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt - Quick stir
- Add 1 tbsp water - Close the instant pot lid with sealing position
- Set low pressure for 2 minutes.
- Open the lid after natural pressure release.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro, Tindora Sabzi is Ready to eat.
