Easy Instant Pot Onion Tomato Chutney | Idly or Dosa Chutney
INGREDIANTS:
- 2 tbsp sesame oil / any oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp urad dal
- curry leaves
- 4 red chilies
- 4 garlic pods
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1/4 cup mint
- 1 medium size onion
- 3 Romo tomatoes
- salt per taste
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp urad dal
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- little hing
- curry leaves

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Turn on instant pot saute mode, when pot is hot add oil.
- Add cumin seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, red chilies, garlic, ginger - Quick stir
- Add mint leaves, chopped onion, chopped tomoto - Saute for 2 minutes.
- Add salt. Close the lid with sealing position
- Cancel saute mode - Set steam for 6 minutes
- When it is done, cancel and quick release. Wait until it cools down.
- Transfer the mixture to the blender, Blend it until smooth.
For tempering:
- Heat the pan on the stove top, add oil.
- when oil is hot, add mustard seeds, urad dal, hing and curry leaves. Wait until it splutters.
- Pour it to the chutney. Delicious onion tomato chutney is ready.
- It goes well with Dosa or Idly.
