Air Fried Crispy Mushrooms in Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid
INGREDIANTS:
  • Mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup basen flour (gram flour)
  • 1 tsp red chili powder (adjust per taste)
  • salt per taste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs (Panko Italian bread crumbs)
  • 1/3 cup water (adjust based on consistency)
  • oil

STEP BY STEP VIDEO:


INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Wash and dry mushrooms
  • In a bowl add basen flour, red chili powder, pepper powder and salt. Mix with water, batter should not be too thick or watery.
  • In an another bowl add bread crumps.
  • Now dip the mushrooms in a basen mixture and cover them with bread crumps.  
  • Add air fryer basket in the instant pot.  Grease or put parchment paper at the bottom.
  • Arrange coated mushrooms in a single layer in the basket.  Spray some oil.
  • Close the air fryer lid.  Set air fry 400F or 205C for 12 minutes.
  • Flip them half way through (around in 6 minutes)
  • Open the lid when it is done, crispy mushrooms are ready to eat.


Air Fried Crispy Mushrooms

NOTE:
  • Here  I used Instant Pot Air fryer lid on Instant Pot 6 qt DUO.
  • You can use plain bread crumbs, but mix with oregano.
  • Adjust red chili powder as per your taste.
  • Timings and temperature may vary based on the air fryer.
