Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid Spicy Masala Egg Fry

Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid Spicy Masala Egg Fry.


  • 7 Eggs 
  • 1/2 tsp salt(adjust to taste) 
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder(adjust to taste) 
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seed powder 
  • 1/4 tsp pepper powder 
  • 2 tsp oil



To boil eggs:

  • Add 1 cup water to the instant pot, place trivet, and add eggs.
  • Close the instant pot with sealing position.
  • Set low pressure 5 minutes. When done, quick release after 5 minutes, then open the lid.
  • Put eggs in cold water for 5 minutes, and it can be easily peeled.
  • Slightly slit the eggs.

To prepare masala eggs:

  • In a bowl add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, fennel seed powder, pepper powder and oil - mix them
  • Add boiled eggs, and mix. Masala needs to be well coated.
  • Keep the air fryer basket in the instant pot. Grease the bottom.
  • Add masala coated eggs in a single layer. Close the instant pot air fryer lid.
  • Set air fry 360F for 4 minutes
  • Flip them halfway through.  
  • Open the lid when it is done.
  • Delicious Masala Egg fry is ready to eat!
