INGREDIANTS:

  • 8 Any Sandwich Breads (Here I used Honey Wheat bread)
  • 3 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3 green chilies
  • ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt per taste
  • 1/8 tsp garam masala powder
  • chopped cilantro
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ghee

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Cut the bread into small pieces.
  • When pot is hot, add oil.
  • Add cumin and curry leaves - wait until it splutters
  • Add chopped onion, green chilies, ginger garlic paste - Saute until it turns into light brown
  • Add tomato - Saute until tomato is soft.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt and garam masala powder - Give a quick stir.
  • Add bread pieces.  Mix well.
  • Cover it and cook in low flame for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Add chopped cilantro, lemon juice and ghee.  Ready to Eat!

  • You can use any bread which is not sweet.
