Air Fryer Crispy Chicken Strips | Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid Chicken Strips


INGREDIENTS:
    • 3 chicken breasts
    • 4 tsp oil
    • To marinate chicken :
      • 1/4 tsp pepper powder
      • 1/4 tsp salt
      • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
    • Flour Mixture:(dry ingredients)
      • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
      • 1/4 tsp pepper powder
      • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
      • 1/4 tsp salt
      • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
      • pinch of baking powder
    • Egg mixture:(wet ingredients)
      • 1 egg
      • 1 tsp cajun hot sauce / or your choice of hot sauce
      • 1/2 tbsp milk
    • 3/4 cup Panko Bread Crumbs (plain/ Italian)

INSTRUCTIONS:
    • Clean the chicken breasts and add them to the bowl. Coat the chicken pieces with pepper powder, salt and red chili powder.  Marinate for 30 minutes.
    • In an another bowl, add all purpose flour, pepper powder, red chili powder, garlic powder, salt and baking powder. Mix these dry ingredients.
    • In an another bowl, add egg, cajun hot sauce and milk.  Beat it all.
    • Take another bowl, add Panko bread crumbs.
    • Grease the instant pot air fryer basket.
    • Once chicken is marinated for 30 minutes, coat them into the flour mixture and dip into the egg mixture.  Now coat the chicken to the bread crumbs.  Place the chicken into the air fryer basket.
    • Repeat the same steps for all the chicken pieces.  Add oil on top of the chicken.
    • Close the air fryer lid, and set Air Fry - 400F for 15 minutes.  
    • Open the lid and flip them though half way, and add oil after flipping them. 
    • When it is done, air fryer will be automatically turned it off, open the lid and place it on protective pad. 
    • Crispy Chicken Strips are Ready to serve.
