Instant Pot Mint Chutney/Green Chutney



Mint is also called Pudina. It goes well with dosa or idli, this chutney can be used to apply on bread to make sandwich.


INGREDIENTS
    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 1 tsp urad dal
    • 1/4 tsp hing/asafotida
    • curry leaves
    • 2 red chilies
    • 2 green chilies
    • tamarind/imly little
    • 3 garlic
    • 1/4 cup chopped coconut
    • 1 cup cilantro
    • 4 cups mint leaves
    • salt
    • 1/2 cup water

INSTRUCTIONS:
    • Turn on instant pot saute mode. When it is hot, add oil.
    • Add urad dal, hing, curry leaves, green chili, red chili, tamarind, and garlic. Saute for 30 seconds.
    • Add cilantro leaves and mint leaves. Saute for 2 minutes.
    • Cancel saute mode.
    • Transfer it to the blender after it is cooled down.
    • Add water and salt, blend it until it's smooth.
    • Yummy Mint Chutney is Ready!!!!!

NOTE:
  • Here I used 6QT DUO instant pot.
  • You can reduce the spice level by skipping the red chili or green chili.
  • It can be served with Idly or Dosa.
