Instant Pot Cauliflower Stir Fry | Gobi Fry


Cauliflower is loaded with nutrients including fiber, vitamins C, K and B6, and potassium. Cauliflower has 25 calories per cup and only 5g carbs per cup. Cauliflower is low in calories and high in fiber. A diet rich in fiber promotes healthy digestion, weight loss and lowers cholesterol levels. 

Cauliflower fry in instant pot is easy and fast to make. Plus, it’s crazy-delicious. This is keto friendly recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds
    • curry leaves
    • 1/2 cup chopped onion
    • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
    • 4 cups chopped cauliflower
    • 1/4 cup green peas
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1 tsp red chili powder
    • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
    • salt
    • chopped cilantro

INSTRUCTIONS:

    • Turn on instant pot saute mode, when it is hot, add oil.
    • Add cumin seeds and curry leaves.
    • Add chopped onion and ginger garlic paste - Saute until turns into light brown.
    • Add chopped cauliflower and green peas - Saute for a minute.
    • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder and salt - quick stir.
    • Close the lid with sealing position.  Cancel saute mode
    • Set low pressure 0 minutes.  Cancel after it is done.
    • Open the instant pot lid after quick release. 
    • Garnish with chopped cilantro.  Quick Cauliflower fry is ready to eat.

NOTE:
    • Here I used 6QT DUO instant pot.
    • You can reduce the spice level by reducing the chili powder.
    • You can skip the spices if it is not available.
