Instant Pot Mushroom Masala

This is Keto friendly Recipe.  It goes well with Cauliflower Rice.




INGREDIENTS:

    • 3 cups(8 oz) of chopped mushrooms
    • 3 tbsp oil
    • 1 medium size onion 
    • 2 garlic
    • 2 pieces of ginger
    • 3 Serrano Pepper/ Green Chillies
    • 2 tomatoes
    • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
    • Salt to taste
    • Cilantro chopped
    • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
    • Curry leaves (optional)
    • Powder:
      • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
      • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Pepper Powder
      • 2 tsp Corriandar/ Dhaniya Powder
      • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder

Instructions:



  • Add onion, ginger, garlic and green chilli to the blender and make a paste. 
  • Make a tomato paste. 
  • Turn on instant pot - saute mode 
  • When pot is hot, add oil, cumin seeds and curry leaves. 
  • Add onion mixture and saute for 3 minutes (until golden brown) 
  • Add tomato paste and saute for 2 minutes. 
  • Add chopped mushroom and saute for a minute. 
  • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, corriandar powder and garam masala powder. Give a quick stir. Add 3/4 cup water and salt to taste. 
  • Close the lid with sealing position. Set 3 minutes high pressure. 
  • Open the lid after 5 minutes quick release. 
  • Add chopped cilantro and whipping cream. Mix it all together.
  • Yummy Mushroom Masala Curry is Ready.
