INGREDIENTS
- 2 lbs - Chicken Breasts - Cut and Clean
- 3 tbsp butter/olive oil
- 2 cups Chopped Onion
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 Serrano Pepper/ Green Chillies
- 1 Chopped Tomato
- Curry leaves (optional)
- Dry methi/fenugreek leaves (optional)
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup Yogurt
- Cilantro chopped
- 1/2 Lemon
- Powder:
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 or 2 tsp Red Chilli Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Corriandar/ Dhaniya Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1 tsp Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- Tadka/ Tempering:
- 1 or 2 Bay Leaves
- 3 Cloves
- 1 stick Cinnamon
- 1 Cardamom
- 2 Star Anise
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds

- Clean and cut the chicken into small pieces
- Turn on Instant pot - Saute mode
- Once pot is hot, add oil.
- Add Bay Leaves, Cloves, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Star Anise and Cumin Seeds.
- Add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste and green chillies and curry leaves - Saute for a minute.
- Add chopped tomato - Saute for a minute. Add chicken pieces - Saute for a minute
- Add Turmeric powder, red chilli powder, corriandar powder, garam masala powder, pepper powder, cumin powder, salt and yogurt. - Mix all together.
- Close the pot with sealing position
- Set manual High pressure 4 minutes
- Cancel and open the lid after quick release.
- Turn on Saute mode again - Give it a stir until excess water goes out. (it may take 1 to 3 minutes)
- Add dry methi leaves, chopped cilantro and squeeze half lemon.
